So this is me…
I’ve heard of people blogging for many reasons. Perhaps they’re writers. Perhaps they’ve taken a vested and dedicated interest in a specific topic. Perhaps they’re bored. Or perhaps they just have a lot to say. I feel like I’m a combination of all of these things. If only I could think of something worthwhile to say…
You see, I ‘ve tried this blogging thing before. In a nutshell, what developed was an awkward stream of conciousness in which I discussed one of the most difficult parts of my life (writing didn’t help, apparently), and, like many a college freshman, a boy who I left behind (for good now, by the way). But it wasn’t really about anything. It was crap. I want to write more.
Fast forward to the present … I’m now a college student coming up on the end of her junior year, and one may say I’ve certainly made progress in my life. Hm, or maybe not progress so much as a large and passionate decision to make progress. I’ve set out to “beat the universe,” shall we say, which all too often seems like its beating me. So maybe here is where I can lay this all out. But, really, I just hope it won’t be more crap.
So, to close: My alias is scatterbrainiac. I’m a Jersey shore girl, but not the kind MTV so graciously portrayed, ahem. I go to school out of state, but not close enough to New York, where I hope to lead my life. In a world of writing, editing, art, and media. I fear being too specific. But you will be hearing from me.
